Foster Youth/Alumni Leadership Summit
The Annual Foster Youth and Alumni Summit is a skill-building conference, designed to help current and former foster youth build and sustain Mockingbird Youth Network Chapters across the state. Network Chapters empower current and former foster youth to use their voices and unique perspectives to create change in their lives and in the larger foster care system.

Participants at the Foster Youth and Alumni Leadership Summit learn strategies on how to use their voices effectively, practice those strategies, and have an opportunity to share their messages with state policy-makers. Participants also have the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with others in the foster care system.

For additional information please contact Fred Kingston, The Mockingbird Youth Network Coordinator, at fred@mockingbirdsociety.org or call (206) 407-2134.
