Seattle attorney Julio Carranza has been elected President of The Mockingbird Society Board of Directors, an advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of foster care children. An alumnus of the state foster care systems in California and Idaho, Julio has emerged from orphan to advocate and will assume his board leadership role beginning in 2009.
